Dr. Zebediah Phiri

Dr. Zebediah Phiri’s core competencies are in the areas of institutional and legal affairs in water supply and sanitation, trans-boundary Integrated Water Resources Management, environmental management and general water engineering. He has taught at the University of Zambia and conducted research in Zambia and the southern African region. He has also carried out consultancy assignments for the World Bank, the United Nations the Southern African Development Community and other agencies. Dr Phiri graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Zambia, obtained an MSc in Water Supply and Sanination from the University of Leeds, UK, and a PhD in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering from Kumamoto University in Japan.
