Professor Jorry Mwenechanya (Chairman/Director)

Professor Jorry Mwenechanya has for many years worked as an energy consultant in the SADC region. He was previously Chairman of the Energy Regulation Board in Zambia. For more than twenty years he was with the University of Zambia where he served as Dean of Engineering and Deputy Vice-Chancellor. Professor Mwenechanya carries out the executive functions of the IIS. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Zambia, as well as an MSc and a PhD from the University of Manchester, UK.
